The Lucille & Jay Chazanoff Sunrise Day Camp-Staten Island is NYC’s only FREE camp for children with cancer and their siblings. While located in Staten Island, Sunrise Day Camp serves children from Staten Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn and NJ on a non-sectarian basis while offering free transportation all campers.
A proud member of the Sunrise Association, Sunrise Day Camp-Staten Island and its year-round programs are offered completely free of charge to families of children with cancer. The Joan & Alan Bernikow JCC of Staten Island which operates Sunrise Day Camp and raises funds for the camp.
